For ALL of our effects pedals (other than the Gypsy Vibe™), any good ISOLATED 9V DC center-negative power supply should work great.
The Gypsy Vibe™ runs on 18VDC power w/ negative centre tip (Dunlop ECB009G1 recommended).
Pedals with high gain circuits can be noisy by nature, though here are a few tips to try & help minimise the velocity of this.
Often the power supply quality can play an integral role when looking to reduce noise. Using isolated / regulated power as opposed to daisy chained un-isolated power can help massively. If you have the option, running the pedal on a battery is the cleanest form of power and this check will help eliminate 'most' potential power supply issues.
Here are some more potential hazards to look out for ⚠️
➡️ Daisy chained power
➡️ Noisy cables
➡️ Dimmer switches
➡️ Fluorescent lights
➡️ Proximity to amp
Crafting the perfect signal chain order is a highly subjective endeavor, making it challenging to provide a definitive guide. We firmly believe that the ultimate test lies in experimenting with your own ears. This involves hands-on exploration, where you manually rearrange pedals, split-test them, and evaluate how they harmonize within your unique setup.
Personally, I prefer the sequence:
Guitar > Octone™ > Gypsy Vibe V2™ > Fuzz > Texan Twang™ > BluesPrint™ > Chicken Quiff™ > Wah > Amp.
However, your ideal order might be entirely different based on your preferences and musical style.

The Pedal Pawn® Fuzz is designed for tremendous clean up when rolling back your guitars volume knob. When rolling up your guitars volume, you get full fat FUZZ!!
The Pedal Pawn® Texan Twang™ has similar glassy clean up interaction with the guitars volume knob (even more on the HI setting). Though, as opposed to getting Fuzz when rolling up the guitars volume knob, you get a really fat Boost / Overdrive 😀
They are both different beasts. Both stack very nicely together!
1. This pedal is a Treble Booster at heart, it enhances whatever you feed it! Therefore, a hot amp context is recommended. If you don't have that option, placing the Texan Twang in front of an overdrive will have great results also.
2. For the full throttle experience - try to dime the LEVEL control as much as possible. This will really get your amp cooking nicely & accentuate the Glassy / Fat tones!
3. Much like a Fuzz pedal, a little bit of noise is normal for these vintage style circuits, it's all part of the charm.
4. For full clean-up capability, it's not advised to use any buffers before the Texan Twang in the signal chain.
As we always say, the best test is with your own ears. However, a good starting point is...
Vibe first > Gain = more watery 💦 e.g. Robin Trower - Bridge Of Sighs
Gain first > Vibe = more swooshy 😵💫 e.g. Jimi Hendrix live at Woodstock
