To put it bluntly, we’ve spent thousands on both new & VINTAGE octave fuzz’s - in search of the holy grail! To our ears, we deemed a very rare vintage 1970’s Octavia the gold standard for its SPOOKY magic. Once faithfully recreating the voodoo of that FAT circuit, we souped up the parameters to also fulfil the ULTRA clean octave settings that are desired by so many. I received my Octone as a Christmas gift from my lovely wife. As an electronics enthusiast, I had to open the pedal. I was very pleased with the construction, especially the lead dress. I couldn't find a flaw. I especially like the tone. It can be used for a fairly tame sound with the volume rolled-off. But, it gets so nasty when you push it. I Love It! I have a DIY Fuzz that the Octone pairs with nicely. I use my DIY Fuzz first in my chain with the Octone right behind it. I may mod mine to add a octave on/off extension switch.

Well after doing a a/b test against my old octave pedal, I had to swap it out.
Love the sound and the range this pedal can achieve.
