Awesome Pedal!

I love this pedal! Can this pedal do the SRV thing, absolutely. But what surprised me most was pairing it with my humbucker guitars. I love how close I can get to Tony Ionmi’s sound. From beautiful glassy tones, all the way to doom when paired with the right equipment. Pedal Pawn nailed this one.

If you are a lover of that Texan Twang sound, buy one. If you really want to have some fun, get the Chicken Quiff to go with it.

10/10 - but know how to use it!!

Guitar volume is EVERYTHING here. That is where you’re going to find those glassy bold tube tones. Crank everything and you get some fuzzy drive that some might find off putting at first.

I live in an apartment so I have to play at very low volumes. My go to practice is a ‘63 CS strat into a tweed 57 champ. The problem is if you want to really drive the tubes or edge of breakup, it becomes too loud and rolling back the guitar volume slowly loses sparkle the more you roll off.

With this pedal, I get the tone I want by cranking the amp, pushing the pedal output hard + fuzz anywhere after noon, but rolling the vol back to even as low as 1-3! Hands down the best part of this pedal in my use case is the ability to play at whisper volumes with full note clarity, sparkle, & glass. With that said, I can’t wait to crank it in my friends Marshall half stack soon!!!

I think it’s crazy that companies charge as much as they do for these pedals and can’t even provide a 9volt power supply.
